Moroccan doors are the best sign that a Moroccan house is about. Moroccans say a beautiful house is known for its beautiful door. The patterns on the door belong to the Berbers or Imazighen (men of the land) who largely occupied Morocco for as long as recorded history can recall.
The meaning of the zigzags, triangles, and circles,... in Berber craftsmanship stipulates, history, culture, traditions, and beliefs they retrace the inspirations born of the acts of life. The Berber symbols are similar to those found on some rock paintings of prehistory.
This is why Berber art is often compared to cave art with representations worthy of the first artifacts of ancient civilizations and culture.
